What Does Professional Outdoor Lighting Actually Cost?
Straight answers about the factors that affect your investment—before you ever schedule an appointment.
We believe customers should have enough information to know whether a project makes sense before spending time on an onsite consultation. Lighting is custom work, so there is rarely one useful flat price—but we can explain what drives the cost and provide realistic ranges.
Permanent Roofline Lighting
Typical Nice & Bright professional permanent roofline installation: approximately $30–$35 per linear foot. Factors include total footage, height, roofline cuts and endings, access, track color, controller location, power/electrical work, permitting, complexity, and design scope.
Landscape Lighting
Landscape lighting is priced around the design and scope rather than a single per-fixture number. Factors include professional fixture selection, fixture count, transformer and controls, wiring distance, installation conditions, property size, moonlighting access, architecture, and whether the design is front-only or whole-property. Fixture quality is one of the largest cost variables.
Packages
Holiday Lighting Packages
Residential holiday lighting displays start at an $800 service minimum. Holiday pricing purchases a full seasonal service—not ownership of the lights. Final pricing depends on footage, height, complexity, trees, décor, access, and package level. We do not publish fixed package prices here because every property is different.
